No one likes to think about or discuss grief, but at some point, all of us will be affected by it. Grief isn’t just the loss of a loved one. We look at several aspects of Anticipatory Grief during a prolonged illness of a loved one. Of course, we cannot cover all of the issues associated with grief in one session, but we will see how grief affects the whole person and provide some practical ways of successfully managing the journey of grief. For more information on Grief Recovery go to GriefShare.org Generally between 60-90 minutes.

This class goes a step further than the Legal Preparation workshop and includes practical things you can do in preparing for the End of Life.  Some topics include: how you want to be cared for if there is a prolonged illness, personal communication with family and friends, distribution of personal effects, and funeral planning. Generally between 60-90 minutes.
